Mahaska is a fifth-generation family owned bottler of beverage products and distributor of food products with affiliated businesses in alcohol, vending, trucking and media. The company dates back to the late 1800’s and opened their current Oskaloosa bottling plant in 1961.

Mahaska has a variety of different services provided through the company.  They are not only a franchise of Pepsi-Co products, but also serving customers with a large platform of other beverage flavors.

Along with the Iowa location, Mahaska also has a franchise located in Norfolk, Nebraska and Salina, Kansas.

Snack Express is another key component to each of the franchise locations.  Snack Express provides an array of different vending snack and beverage items, which includes cold foods and sandwiches.  We also offer wide variety, high quality, self-checkout Micro Market in accounts.  Each Market is unique and customized to fit the customer’s needs.

Each Mahaska location has a multitude of different departments that work together in making the business a success.  Some of the departments include: Accounting, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Vending, Fleet Mechanic, Building Maintenance, Warehouse, Sales, IT, HR, Inventory, OTR, and Purchasing.

Branden Muhl is the fifth-generation owner of Mahaska. As a family-owned company, Mahaska provides a flexible work environment with employee appreciation shown in a variety of ways. The company hosts Summer outings and a holiday dinner for employees.
